About Voice Tools Directory
Voice Tools Directory is an open-source, community-maintained directory of voice AI tools curated specifically for content creators, game developers, and voice AI builders. Unlike general AI tool aggregators, we focus on what actually matters for each user group: licensing clarity, pricing transparency, and realistic capability assessments.
Why we built this
- â Most AI directories list hundreds of tools with no context on licensing â we prioritize "YouTube monetizable?", "game use OK?", "commercial use allowed?"
- â Real pricing data, not just "contact us" â we track pricing changes over time
- â AI-friendly: structured JSON API and llms.txt so AI assistants can answer "what's the best TTS for my budget?" accurately
The data
Every tool is manually curated. Data is stored as Markdown files in a public GitHub repository. We never fill in fields we can't verify â if we don't know the latency, it's not on the page.
Contributing
The directory is open source. Adding a tool takes ~30 seconds: create one Markdown file, fill in the frontmatter, open a PR. See the Submit a Tool page.
